October Update

Normally I write Monthly Update on or around the last day of the month but a variety of things have cropped up so I'm sorry for the lateness.

 

The Semis are under-way & below are the details of each game.

 

Up until now I've send the Monthly Update by Blank Carbon Copy (Bcc) all players but now the only ones who'll be Bcc will be those playing in the Semis.

To those still wondering why I waited until I have adjudicated S01 for all Semis, the following will explain.  Prior to sending out the Gamestarts, I asked each player to confirm that they will play.  All did however; one player didn't submit S01 orders.  I gave him an extra week but to no avail.  The player who ended up being the 25th 2nd placed player therefore replaced him.  To the player who didn't submit the orders, please let me know what happened.

 

Before I mention the Semis status, I want to thank Andy, Doug, JW & Kester for all the effort they have put into 'Admiral'.  Without your help, I wonder what would have happened if I tried to GM 25 games……  J

To the players, please don't keep using Provisional Orders unless it's really needed.  There have been a few times when I could have adjudicated before the Deadline but as Provisional Orders is shown, I've had to wait until after the Deadline.  Quick games are good fun.
