Where to Jive

When reading, you will see words that might mean nothing to you. Beginners' is as it says, for those either just learning or those who carry on doing it for the fun. Intermediate is for those who are happy to move on & freestyle is just dancing without lessons.

Ceroc Ceroc was the first club I went to & I still do. They do classes, which finish with freestyle & other nights, alternative Friday & Saturday, which is just freestyle. Normally the mid-week classes start at 8pm & have 30-45 minutes of Beginners' lessons, and then 15 minutes freestyle followed by 45 minutes of Intermediate lessons The final hour is freestyle dancing.

Jive Time where I'm based, my friends & I go to the weekends they organise. Currently they are held in spring, autumn & winter. The accommodation is at holiday parks & hence in the seasons, they are not used for normal holidays. At the weekends they run many classed based on all forms of dancing, such as Lindy Hop, Tango, Salsa, Tap, Blues, etc. Jive Time
